It's done. My first publicly exhibitioned piece is now on display at Kittredge gallery. Any in the UPS area, it'll be up for a week in the hall gallery. It turned out pretty much exactly as I wanted it, though the matting took quite a bit more practice than I had expected. Learning experience for I.
For those wondering what the piece is, I took "quiet reflection" and inscribed a Japanese poem into it. Then, thanks to

, I printed it out and matted it with a double window black on grey. All in all, it looks pretty nice. I would prefer to show photography only, but this is a step in the right direction. I'm in Photography next semester, so I know I'll be showing prints from that. In the meantime, it feels nice to have something on display finally.
