awaken from your slumber

At long last Finals are over, Papers are turned in, next year is planned, and I finally have a bit of free time to do some retouches and new pieces. This one is a little bit of experimentation inspired both from my photography classes so long ago ans well as a recent issue of Pop Photo.

I synced the two images originally at the chin, but it made the face too cluttered and...ick. So I re-synced at the lips, and it seems to have come out a little better. I wish I had copies of the original double-images I did in the darkroom, but I won't be able to post those since the negatives were destroyed in the process.

One final note, this is not a member of the Amanda series. I don't think it's in quite the same style or line as the others, as it focuses more on the juxtaposition of the two images than the character of the model. Obviously the model is still Amanda though.
